Caledonian Discovery offers cruising holidays with outdoor activities along the Great Glen in the Scottish Highlands. Our unique converted barges offer our guests a highland home for the week, looked after by skipper, cook and crew. This is a soft adventure for people of all ages with stunning scenery, good home comforts and wonderful food. We offer a wide variety of activity options and themed cruises including wildlife & guided walks, hill & trail walking, biking, canoeing and sailing. Our first barge ‘Fingal of Caledonia’ has been operating since we started in 1996 and our second vessel ‘Ros Crana’, was purchased and newly converted to double our fleet for the 2013 season.

Over the years we have earned a strong reputation for excellent customer care. This extends from the first contact with our office team, through the booking process to every aspect of the holiday experience on board with our friendly and dedicated crew. We recognise the crucial role that all our staff team play and in turn look to see how they can develop their own skills and experience.

Caledonian Discovery has weathered the pandemic years with significant effort from our amazing staff team and good support from our wonderful guests. We are now bouncing back and we welcome applications from people with drive and enthusiasm to join our team and build for the future.
