Cairngorm Wilderness Contracts was estabilshed 14 years ago by three trainees after they completed the Cairngorm Outdoor Access Trusts (COAT) upland footpath training course.
Straight after the course, they started trading with the vision to create a conservation focused company that was continuously striving to push standards in footpath construction, aiming to create paths that were built in a way that was sympathetic to the environment, often using new and innovative techniques.
Since then we have worked on some of the most iconic paths in Scotland, creating long lasting and sustainable solutions, reducing erosion caused by the increased footfall and the ever more regular, extreme foul weather events.
