Lochaber Citizens Advice Bureau
Lochaber Citizens Advice Bureau provides free, confidential and impartial advice to anyone on any matter. The Bureau is a member of The Scottish Association of Citizens Advice and complies with the conditions laid down for membership of the Association.
Lochaber CAB was first established in 1981 as a response to multiple redundancies in local manufacturing industries. The CAB service first started in Caol then moved to Fort William and has been in its current location at the former library, Dudley Road since 1990.
The bureau is governed by a board of trustees representative of the community in which it operates. Lochaber CAB became a Company Limited by Guarantee in 1990 and is a registered charity.
Over the years the CAB has developed a range of specialist services enables the Bureau to maximise the quality and professionalism of advice and representation offered, to as wide a client base as possible, helping Lochaber CAB to tackle poverty and disadvantage at source.
Our committed team of Volunteers and Staff recently celebrated 34 yrs Service to the community of Lochaber.
