With his vast knowledge of the transport sector, Jim concentrated on providing transport services to local authority's education and social work departments while still providing services to the public for airport transfers, golf outings, day trips etc.

Today, AJS has grown steadily but is still a family owned company, with family orientated values, headed by two of Jim's descendants, Steven Smith and Tracy Smith. With a fleet of over 80 vehicles and drivers situated across the North East of Scotland, AJS transports in the region of 250 to 300 passengers each day to and from various establishments. Now operating out of our purpose-built premises approximately 1.5 miles out of Peterhead, AJS Contact Cars Ltd is committed to "Transporting You in Safe Hands".
