NetworkRail Design Delivery (NRDD) within Infrastructure Projects (IP) will provide amanaged service for design delivery through a regionally-structured,multi-disciplinary organisation and relationships with supply chain designorganisations. The NRDD bring a range of different specialisations includingSignalling, E&P, B&C and Track Design that complement each other toimprove the overall diverse service offering.
Our geotechnical and drainage design team is growing rapidly so we're looking for proactive, enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join us where they will be trained and mentored in delivering high quality designs to our clients.
Our current portfolio ranges from early GRIP stage development and design for large multidisciplinary enhancement projects (such as Northern Powerhouse Rail) to the later GRIP stage (detailed) design of earthworks and drainage renewal schemes. These typically include the review of existing infrastructure assets, scoping and supervising of site surveys followed by the preparation of reports and designs to the appropriate design standards.
As a valued member of our group, you would be supported in joining an ICE affiliated training agreement or equivalent to progress your professional development and gain professional accreditation.
We currently have several positions available for Geotechnical Engineer's / Engineering Geologist's or Drainage Engineer's to join a thriving, vibrant engineering design office and be part of a truly dynamic team within Network Rail. To be considered for this role you will have;
