IT and Business Services, which are part of Route Services are delivering services that are vital to the running of the railway, deliver the provision of services agreed by the routes to allow them to benefit from economies of scale and the optimisation of our critical resources. Every year we buy and deliver 2000km of rail and 2.5 million tonnes of ballast and operate 1200 rail vehicles. Behind the scenes we process '7bn of payments, handle over 230,000 IT helpdesk calls and make sure everyone's wages are paid on time.

Your job will be to assist in the delivery of activities in the Records Centre.

Are you looking for your next career move?

1.Monitoring the movement of the records and electronic data from and to the Record Centre. Provide reports regarding the status of records and data. Input to and maintain data in electronic records management systems.

2.You'll investigate the circumstances of requests of record and data already booked-out or unobtainable and report on the position.

3.Supply information only prints, source records, Computer Aided Design (CAD) files and data when required.

4.Maintain reference library for records as required.

5.You will undertake general office duties as directed.

6.Assist with the provision of records configuration details, including drawing numbers, version control and records format

7.You'll be providing basic advice in relation to Record Centre processes, configuration issues, and compliance to group and company standards.

8.We will be expecting you to identify areas for improvement within the Records Centre processes.

We adhere to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range:'18,000

Network Rail is required to comply with UK Government standards when carrying out pre-employment checks for all new starters; this includes a basic criminal record check. In addition to the basic criminal record check, in accordance with the UK Government we are also required to verify your identity, right to work in the UK and previous three years employment history.
