Becoming a systems developer with Capita Life, Pensions & Specialist:

A chance to use your skills whilst developing others in a great team environment. Working on the Phoenix account in the Glasgow city centre office

What you will do:

  • Creating or amending programs based on specific requirements
  • Creating or amending technical specifications based on business requirements
  • Provide solution design to deliver the most cost and time efficient ways to meet project demands
  • Provide fix on fail cover during working hours for production systems

Your experience will include:

  • Experience within a Life and Pensions company ideally but within a financial services company as a minimum.
  • Experience of working on large scale policy servicing or workflow systems would be desirable
  • Proven systems developer experience within the following areas:
    • MVS/TSO/JCL or ICL
    • Cobol or Visual Basic 6
    • VSAM or DB2
  • Other desirable skills are:
    • Oracle
    • Perl
    • SQL
