We are currently looking to identify suitably qualified and highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Treatment Vessels Assistant Manager.


Role and responsibilities

 Day to day support of all treating vessels with emphasis on Thermolicer and Hydrolicer vessels as well as all of our peroxide vessels.
Daily review of treatment results, clearance and mortality. Actions for improvements highlighted and implemented including trial and investigative works.
Assist with the co-ordination of engineering support where needed across all treating fleet.
Budget and forecast assistance to treating fleet; annual budget setting and monthly forecast updates.
Invoice & order approval for treating fleet.
Assist in the planning of treatment resources; take a rotational weekend on call with planning department for treatment updates.
Report back to department head on a minimum weekly basis on vessel status, engineering requirement, staffing and treatment trends.
Deputise for the department head as and when required.
Liaise with Mowi Global R&D through the Lice Action Team.



 Mechanical/Engineering background would be advantageous but is not essential.
IT literate.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the job. This will include working away from home.
Good understanding of the aquaculture industry and awareness of technology advancement.
Experience with de-lousing systems and bathing vessels advantageous but not essential.
Quick learner of new systems and processes; specifically, mechanical delousing equipment.
Ability to undertake and present investigative and trial works.
