You'll lead and direct the day-to-day performance of a Station team on a shift basis, to achieve all kinds of key challenges ' from delivering exceptional customer service, through to maintaining a station environment that is fully compliant with exacting safety and operational standards. It's a varied, vital and hands-on role. In even the toughest weather, through the most unexpected disruptions, whatever time of the day or night; you will stay calm and resilient. Thinking on your feet, you'll drive your team to deliver effective solutions to every challenge.
Your management responsibilities will span rosters and resources; security and inspections; emergency planning; station services and amenities. We'll also expect you to manage programme delivery for station checks, including contractor compliance and train despatch. Through it all, as a role model and mentor, you'll inspire and develop your team.
