we currently operate Energy from Waste Plants in Plymouth and Dundee and a Biomass
Facility at Ridham Dock (Kent).

• Responsible for all aspects of the
maintenance of the EfW (CHP) Facility.
Ensuring the safe, compliant and
efficient maintenance of the facility in
order to deliver best plant service
availability and performance within
• Support the Facility Manager to
maintain and improve the EfW (CHP)
Facility in accordance with MVV’s high
quality standards and goals
• Manage the performance of the maintenance
team and contractors to
deliver safe, compliant and efficient
standards of service
• Maintain and operate the plant
maintenance management system
• A practical engineering manager with
proven experience in a supervisory
maintenance role within a process
industry, ideally gained in chemical,
waste incineration or power generation
environment, involving high
pressure steam raising plant
• Experience of managing a maintenance
budget and planned
• Analytical ability, enthusiastic and a
competent problem solver with a
practical approach to solving
• Qualiffied Engineer in a relevant
Engineering discipline, with good
knowledgeable of Control, Electrical
and Mechanical Engineering. Honours
degree in Engineering would be an
Good communication skills, ability to manage
and motivate the maintenance team.
