Arrows is an addictions service delivering whole family support to children and their families affected by substance abuse.

Quarriers have Investors in People Platinum accreditation and are one of only two social care organisations in Scotland to have this prestigious award. We are also an accredited Scottish Living Wage employer.

An exciting new role has arisen for a Family Recovery Worker to provide whole family support for children and their families affected by substance use, to work alongside Quarriers Arrows adult recovery models. The successful candidate has a number of key objectives and accountabilities including:

To deliver whole family support to children and their families affected by substance abuse.

To work in partnership with a range of statutory and other third sector agencies.

Recognise the capacity for change and how difficult the process can be for everyone.

Support the person's right to choose their own recovery journey.

You will have an approved qualification in drug and alcohol studies, child development, health care, social work or a related relevant qualification.. Knowledge and experience of recovery orientated systems of care and /or experience of child and/or adult protection. The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritise tasks and organise a diverse workload, whilst using a supportive and enabling approach to all service users. Good interpersonal skills, experience of effective inter-agency collaboration and the the flexibility to work irregular hours, when required - including evening and weekends.
