The Anglia route comprises over 1,700 miles of track and over 63.6 million passenger journeys per year. Liverpool Street, our hub, is the third busiest railway station in Britain, contributing 32% to the City of London's multibillion GDP each year. As we enter CP6, a new five-year period of investment, we will be embarking on a dynamic range of performance improvement plans across Anglia. The ASPRO team presents the 'Front Face' of NWR to the external clients, and as such, has a responsibility in handling client expectations in a professional and effective manner but, at the same time, to ensure we safeguard from any ill effects from the external projects.

Due to the volume of work, we are looking to grow our team with an assistant asset protection engineer. You will have exposure to the team's portfolio of about 500+ projects across the route. These projects encompass a huge variety of types and values, ranging from a '5K to '100M of external client expenditure.

We adhere to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: '32,000 ' 37,000.

Network Rail is required to follow UK Government standards when carrying out pre-employment checks for all new starters; this includes a basic criminal record check. In accordance with the UK Government we are also required to verify your identity, right to work in the UK and previous three years employment history.
