About this role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Leader to join our team. Supporting Programme and Project Managers you will be managing the introduction, enhancement and replacement of wheel plant assets. These assets range from our half mile long Ballast Cleaning Systems through to specialist wagons delivering materials to worksites. All playing a significant role in supporting Network Rail's commitment to deliver a rail network, that enables trains to run safely, punctually, reliably and at a cost that represents value for money. On projects ranging in duration and complexity, you will be part of a team that is committed to meeting the needs of our customers.
As a Project Leader, it is desirable that you have an understanding of working with original equipment manufacturers in a heavy engineering environment and you must have experience in stakeholder relationship management. We are looking for someone with a 'can-do' attitude who is keen to take an innovative approach to influencing continuous improvement and project delivery. In this role you may also have the opportunity to deliver business change projects.

Network Rail adheres to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: '32,256 - '36,288
