Trainee Anatomical Pathology Technician (Level 1 & 2): £18,778 - £22,683 pa
Anatomical Pathology Technician: £22,703 - £25,512 pa
To assist in the temporary provision of the storage of bodies, the reception of bodies and to assist in post-mortems when required.
The post holder will participate in the technical work and routine administration of the Aberdeen Public Mortuary located at Police Scotland, Queen Street, Aberdeen. Working hours are generally 0845 to 1700, however out of hours will be required as necessary. It is desirable if the applicant holds the RSPH Certificate or Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology, but applicants without qualifications may be considered for the trainee position. If a trainee is appointed candidates will be expected to study for the Level 3 and Level 4 Diplomas or equivalent.Requirements

Anatomical Pathology Technician:
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
The Royal Institute of Public Health & Hygiene Certificate or Level 4 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology.
Undertake shift work/working alone.Responsibilities
