Network Rail Route Businesses E&W plans, operates and maintains the railway day-to-day.

LNW Works Delivery carries out work LNW route wide from Euston in the south, through the major cities of Birmingham and Manchester to just over the Scottish border - the backbone of Britain. The LNW Works Delivery team plans, designs and delivers project covering as Track, Signalling, Civil Engineering, Buildings, Drainage & Off-Track, Electrification and Plant within the route.

Works Delivery in LNW Route pride ourselves on the quality of our people and the Site Manager role is no different; we want the best. In addition to your academic qualifications, you will required to provide supporting data to our Property colleagues and assist in undertaking any due diligence they may require in order to facilitate the land acquisitions needed to accommodate smooth delivery of our work bank. This may involve dialogue with the Liability Negotiations team, the Land Information team and the Town Planning team. It may also involve making enquiries of Land Registry, making local enquiries as to ownership, collating operational data relating to any existing access rights and carrying out any necessary internal clearances. You will be IT literate, able to keep updated programmes and records and have strong communication skills.

We adhere to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: '39,514 - '44,453. (Please note there are 2 positions available)

Network Rail is required to comply with UK Government standards when carrying out pre-employment checks for all new starters; this includes a basic criminal record check.
