The day-to-day running of Britain's railway is a huge undertaking. It calls for the expertise of thousands of people, working with dedication up and down the country. Every one of our people has a role to play in building the railway of the future. All of which means that efficient, effective and intelligent rostering of personnel is vital if we are to succeed in our ambitious goals.
Producing rosters for a wide range of personnel carrying out all kinds of key duties, you will help us deliver a better railway even more efficiently. Our success is rooted in the details you'll consider.
You'll support the success of diverse teams and departments. We'll look to you to produce cost effective and efficient rosters for nominated personnel. Put simply, you'll help to reduce costs while making the most of the skills available. Naturally, you'll always make sure rostering complies fully with operational demands and standards.
It's a varied role. You'll produce rosters for personnel undertaking weekly and daily duties covering sickness, leave and special arrangements, such as medical exams. What's more, you'll compile and control valuable records, and provide information that we'll use in important progress reports. Your keen eye for detail will be the key to our success.
Network Rail adheres to pre-employment Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS), this is government standard for pre 'employment vetting.
BPSS government standard pre-employment vetting requires Network Rail to screen a potential employee's unspent criminal convictions and undertake 3 year career checks. Employment at Network Rail is subject to employees meeting the BPSS government standard pre-employment vetting.
