Keeping Britain moving on the railway is a huge and complex challenge; With 20,000 miles of track, Signalling assets, Electrification initiatives; Maintenance, inspection and renewal. This movement is made possible by dedicated administrative, technical and analytical support. With such strong support in place, we're ready for even the toughest challenges.
You'll provide a diverse team with vital technical and administrative support. It's a varied role spanning everything from data collection and analysis through to vehicle management.
You'll be responsible for providing a range of important technical and administrative support to a Lead Network Operations Manager and their diverse team. Working closely with senior members of staff, you will take a proactive approach to providing a high quality service.
We'll expect you to locate and collate all kinds of data, records and other important information. Carrying out useful analysis, you will present data in support of recommended actions. You'll also maintain and review publications and logs. Your wide range of administrative duties will include everything from minute taking through to managing technical plans. You'll even play a role in vehicle management.
Network Rail adheres to pre-employment Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS), this is government standard for pre 'employment vetting. BPSS government standard pre-employment vetting requires Network Rail to screen a potential employee's unspent criminal convictions and undertake 3 year career checks.
