The London North Eastern and East Midlands Route(LNE&EM) runs from the Scottish Borders to London Kings Cross / St Pancras,connecting major towns and cities in the North, North East and Midlands.
Our route covers key lines for commuter, cross-countryand long-distance travel both north-south and east-west for both passenger andfreight services.
Passenger numbers are growing rapidly across the routeand are expected to increase by 30 per cent by 2023. Ongoing work in the routeto boost network capacity includes junction improvements, additional track, andtrain lengthening schemes, all as part of the national Railway Upgrade Plan.
Combining exceptional organisational skills and a winning way with people, you'll produce all kinds of detailed plans. You'll help to ensure a section of the network benefits from efficient and effective works.
You'll be responsible for developing detailed, fully resourced work plans for an Infrastructure Maintenance team. You'll also provide accurate and effective general administrative support to the Section Manager and his people. We'll look to you to optimise all agreed work activities for a Section. Put simply, you'll produce plans that help us do the best job possible with the teams and times available.
It's a varied role that will see you producing everything from Safe System of Work plans through to draft quarterly plans. In addition, you'll set up and maintain a range of systems, databases and records. What's more, you'll personally manage weekly Plan-Do-Review meetings.
