Do you have experience of working with children with additional support needs/disabilities? Are you caring, enthusiastic and reliable? If so we are looking for carers to join our teams who provide a ‘fun activity club’ for children with additional support needs/disabilities. The DIY Club also provides much needed respite for parents/carers.
The DIY Club likes to involved children in arts and crafts, baking, outdoor play, construction, role play and community based activities such as swimming, playing in the park, going on the bus or train into Aberdeen or attending coffee mornings and local events. The children who attend the DIY Club are involved in planning activities that they would like to take part in.
The DIY Clubs run every second Saturday and you will work 6.5 hours per session, this includes time to set up the activities planned for the day before the children arrive and time tidy up at the end of the session.
