This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven person with excellent people skills and a creative flair to join the RSPB as part of the Community Fundraising team.
Community Fundraising plays a big part in the success of the RSPB, helping to secure essential financial income for conservation work within the country and we need a focused individual with enthusiasm, energy, creative ideas and great people skills to join the team and continue to drive up our community fundraising income.
You will help to support a team of over 170 volunteers who do fantastic work to support the RSPBs conservation work, primarily with income raised from pin badges, as well as working with other teams within the RSPB and external organisations who support the RSPB's work by hosting our pin badge boxes. Last year, pin badges helped to raise over £1.4 million across the UK. In addition, you will be supporting individuals seeking to fundraise for the RSPB and organising other fundraising opportunities. Your challenge will be to help increase the amount of donations raised and expand the volunteer base going forward so that the large potential for income generation is maximised.
In joining the Community Fundraising team you will get to work alongside a brilliant team of volunteers, as well as colleagues across the RSPB who are striving towards the same goals. You will receive high quality training and support in your role. The successful candidate will be expected to meet Community Fundraising targets by ensuring income from pin badges, bucket collections and other fundraising initiatives are maximised.
If you are looking to help us Give Nature a Home and inspire others to get involved with supporting conservation, then we'd very much love to hear from you!
