Nature is in trouble, can you help us to save it?
The RSPB is the UK's largest conservation organisation, with over 200 nature reserves giving a home to thousands of species across the whole of the UK. By creating and protecting some of the country's rarest habitats we are ensuring the future for some of our most threatened wildlife.
Excellent people are the key to the RSPB achieving its vision, mission and purpose.
We are looking for an outgoing person with bags of enthusiasm for nature. A real people person who can enthuse the general public about what we do, and inspire them to become supporters of our work by becoming members of the RSPB. You will have the opportunity to create your own display and tell your stories in your own way. We will provide you with all of the resources you need to be successful in the role.
You will be ambitious and work hard to meet your targets and KPI's in order to help us achieve our aim of delivering a world richer in nature. You will inspire people about the amazing wildlife and beauty of Scotland at a variety of events - from highland games to music festivals, having conversations and facilitating family friendly activities you will pass on your enthusiasm for our work, and inspire people to support us.
The role will be based in the central belt of Scotland with extensive travel around this area and sometimes further afield so a full driving licence is a necessity. We will provide you with a vehicle and the office support to reach as many people as possible. You need to bring the passion and enthusiasm and the drive to succeed.
We will be conducting a rolling programme of short-listing and interviewing and reserve the right to close this vacancy early, therefore we recommend you apply as soon as possible in order to ensure you do not miss the opportunity.
This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. You will be asked to declare unspent convictions and cautions at offer of employment stage.
