Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide professional administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive’s Office of West Dunbartonshire Council.

You will be working at a senior level in a fast-paced and busy environment which will require you to respond quickly to changing priorities, as well as planning for known activity. In addition to planning work schedules, diary appointments and prioritising requests, you will also be a trusted support in highly confidential matters. You will be expected to compile briefings and reports, presentations and correspondence in partnership with senior managers to a high standard.

This is a demanding but rewarding post and the successful candidate will need to be resilient, highly organised, a problem solver and able to use their own initiative. It is also an exceptional role that offers a varied and rewarding opportunity for the right individual.

An experienced PA, you will have excellent attention to detail and strong IT skills, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Word. You will have the ability to demonstrate decision making skills and be adept at working under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Crucial to the role will be your excellent organisational skills, self-motivation and your ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
