The Resource works in partnership with community planning partners and voluntary and independent provider organisations, offers a range of services designed to enable, support, improve and protect the health and social care of people using our services. Children and Justice Services is looking for a committed and enthusiastic manager with significant management experience working with children and families in statutory social work. You will have well developed leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to support and develop staff in order that services are delivered to the highest standard. The ability to forge and maintain effective and accountable partnership working with a range of agencies and service providers in the locality is essential. You will have experience in statutory Children and Family work in child protection, looked after children and permanence and a commitment to ensuring the protection of children as a whole. As well as the day to day management of a locality you will be expected to play a significant role in the planning and development of services, policies and practice as part of a wider Children and Justice Management Team. Experience of change management, management of resources and budgets is essential. Successful applicants must have experience in managing Social Workers, hold a Diploma in Social Work or equivalent and be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council.
