Based within Democratic Services located at the Municipal Buildings, Falkirk, you will provide a range of professional support services to the Central and West Lothian Area Support Team (AST).
Working within a small team, you will take a lead role in supporting the work of the AST ensuring its key functions such as recruitment and selection, re-appointment and quality assurance of practice, are delivered at a local level.
You should possess a degree or equivalent professional qualification in management or public administration. You will have experience of working on corporate projects at a senior level, a working knowledge of the legislation underpinning the Children’s Hearings System along with an awareness of any issues affecting the System. The post holder will be required to attend evening meetings, on occasion.
