Job Description Stirling Council's Learning and Employability Team seek a range of experienced community based adult learning tutors to support the delivery of classes across the local authority area. If you have experience in the follow subject areas, are passionate about adult learning and support a social practice approach to learning which places learners at the heart of the service, we want to hear from you now. We particularly seek tutors to support the delivery of adult literacy and numeracy, English for speakers of other languages (ESOL), ICT, smart technology, first aid, languages including Gaelic, Italian, Spanish and French, support for employability learning, self-esteem and confidence building, health and wellbeing, family learning and family literacies, creative skills including arts and crafts, sewing, cookery and elementary food hygiene, and local and family history. At present, our main demand is for daytime availability. If you also have experience in other subject areas, please let us know! Requirements The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children and adults.
