Chef:To work alongside chef/owner ensuring consistent and well executed dishes, exceeding our guest's expectations.
To work mainly straight shifts (dinner service only with occasional lunches)
Have a good working knowledge of pastry
To produce dishes to the standards agreed.
To ensure a clean as you go manner ensuring Food Safety and Hygiene regulations are adhered to.
To be a team player and to communicate with other team members.
To work with fresh produce and to contribute to menu planning, recipes and costings
To reduce food waste ensuring stock rotation and good menu planning.
To assist in the clearing down of the kitchen at the end of each service.
To ensure your section is clean and tidy with all foods being correctly stored and labelled.

Wating staff:

To work with a small team assisting the owner in the smooth running of the Restaurant.
To deliver a warm and friendly professional level of service.
To welcome guests, advise of menu and drinks selections.
To wait on tables and be able to anticipate guests needs.
To be able to dispense and serve drinks.
To stock take and place orders.
To set up restaurant for service and for close of service.

Both positions required:

Chef: Full or part-time:
Waiting staff: Part-time 3/4 evenings per week. 

Relevevant experience / Friendly welcoming manner / Well presented / Must be flexible to meet the needs of the business / Punctual and reliable

Rate of pay:

Waiting from £9.00 per hour plus gratuities

Chef from £11.00 per hour plus gratuities

 

Sous Chef

£32,000 to £35,000 per annum, People's Pension, Fort Augustus
