Turning Point Scotland is a national social care charity providing services to people with addictions, learning disabilities, mental health issues, those in the criminal justice system and those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Turning Point Scotland Perth & Kinross
Full time. Salary: £19,085 - £21,397.
*Male only (*Qualifies under the 2010 Equality Act)
At TPS Perth & Kinross we deliver services for people who have a learning disability or autism and unique and complex behaviours which challenge the service: many of the individuals we support have some forensic histories. Most of the men we support live in 24/7 supported accommodation projects but we also provide outreach for a couple of individuals with learning disabilities in the locality.
We work in a person centred way tailoring support to meet the needs of the service users -maximising choice and autonomy while assessing and managing risk in conjunction with the Tayside Risk Management Group.
We also offer support through our garden project at the Perth Harbourside. This offers the chance for people to develop skills for future employment, gain confidence and work with others in a positive and supportive environment.
Closing Date: Sunday 18th August 2019.
