This is a role within Building Services Heritage Team which will require the individual to carry out general bricklayer / builder duties to our domestic and non-domestic properties such as: Build brick and block work, build hard and soft landscaping, erection and installation of masonry components, there will also be a degree of working alongside stonemasons as part of the role. The post will involve working Fife Wide, starting and finishing on-site.
The normal working week is 36 hours, Monday to Thursday 0800 – 1630 and Friday 0800 – 1200 this may alter due to work load and business delivery needs.


The Individual

A time-served trades person in required trade as recognised by industry board,
Experience of manual outdoor working in all weather conditions and the ability to carry out work to high quality.

You should possess good communication skills and be able to transfer these in different circumstances e.g. dealing with members of the public. You should be a good team player as well as being able to work alone and unsupervised at times. You should be willing to work with and mentor Apprentices and other trainees as required.
