Community Care Assistant, Perth City South (PKC05827)
£25,264 - £28,380 Fixed Term (For 3 Years)
Pullar House, 35 Kinnoull St, Perth, PH1 5GD

The successful candidate will responsible to support Perth Locality Team in maintaining adults with stable, low to medium risks needs in the community by providing a range of tasks. These include the assessment and reviewing of the individual's support needs and the arranging of care packages, in addition to the provision of specialised adaptations and items of equipment and to give instruction in their safe use.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, engaging and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Effective time management is essential for a successful autonomous worker to manage a caseload with the ability to be flexible and respond to crisis/competing demands being integral to the role. You must have experience of providing individual needs-led assessment for prospective service users and their carers within Eligibility Criteria and Operational Guidelines. You must be able to accept referrals identified as appropriate to the skills and expertise of a Community Care Assistant for assessment.
