We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our team based within Fleming House, Cumbernauld to manage the Council’s Housing Property data in terms of asset management, capital investment programmes and legislative requirements such as SHQS (Scottish Housing Quality Standard) and EESSH (Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing ). In addition the role also requires that asset data is reviewed to form the basis of ongoing legislative compliance through a variety of routes such as surveying programmes as required as well as informing decision making in our housing investment programmes, which are valued at over £68m per annum.
You will need to be highly ICT literate and particularly proficient in the use of Excel/Access, with experience of data collection processes, recording, manipulation and analysis as well as having a knowledge of SHQS/EESSH and other housing legislation relevant to our housing stock. You will also be an integral part of the team looking at the council’s existing ICT systems and future ICT solutions for the service and wider organisation specifically in relation to strategic asset management. You should be to be able to communicate well and able to present data accurately to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including other council services, tenants and home owners and external agencies such as the Scottish Government.
To support this role, you would be responsible for the supervision and performance of a range of technical and administrative staff. You should be educated to SVQ4/HND/Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline and have considerable relevant experience including development of housing initiatives, policies and procedures, preparation and management of budgets, experience of managing and reviewing performance to achieve agreed objectives, experience of managing employees and processes within a multi-disciplined setting and the ability to manage change.
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be required to participate in a rota to facilitate the out of hours’ response service during evenings and weekends.
