Job Title: Heating & Renewables Project Manager
Location: Argyll & Bute
Salary: £31,500 - £47,900 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance + annual bonus
Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available | 37 hours per week
You'll provide technical support to determine the project suitability of potential supply chain partners, with regards to the safe installation of central heating systems, renewables and/or gas. Providing on-site support by sharing best practice and learnings, you'll continuously monitor that safe working practices detailed within our supply chain are adhered too. You'll lead the project team and own the responsibility for the successful delivery of our heating and renewables projects (on-time, within budget and to the highest SHE standards) and ensure our contractual commitments and compliance requirements are met in full.
Your Skills and Experience
As you'll be supporting the selection and on-site auditing of our principal contractors processes, you'll need to demonstrate sound technical knowledge of first-time central heating systems, renewables and/or gas. An understanding of all SSE's business areas, domestic retrofit, the wider Energy industry and government obligation (RHI / ECO) is required. If you are an ASHP approved installer, hold gas safe registration, SMSTS, CSCS and/or APM, PRINCE2 or similar, please detail this in your application.
