This post is based within the Advice Shop where the successful candidate will work to promote financial inclusion and alleviate poverty through advice and advocacy in the areas of welfare benefits, money, housing and energy advice.
The post holder will be responsible for digital development within the service, looking into ways to use new technology to better support customers and improving web content for those who choose to access the service online.
The post holder will work with local partners to strengthen referral pathways through the development and ongoing management of an online service directory using the Fast Online Referral Tracking (FORT) system.
The successful candidate will also assist with monitoring the performance of the West Lothian anti-poverty strategy by gathering information and producing regular reports highlighting progress against set targets.
The skills and knowledge you must have:-Understanding of income maximisation and/or expenditure minimisation or money advice Excellent IT skills Proven track record of research and analytical skills Experience of analysing results and identifying trends Experience of project development and/or management Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to use computerised record management systems to keep accurate customer records
