Working in our Customer Propositions team you'll help develop and execute a winning product strategy by developing and maintaining a product portfolio that maximises the overall value of our customers in a challenging category. This is an exciting and challenging role that brings the opportunity to make a real difference at a defining time for our business. You'll have the opportunity to work in collaboration with a number of stakeholders at all levels, developing business cases and offering recommendations to enhance portfolio performance, acquisition and retention strategy and future proposition development.
You'll be accountable for improving the commercial performance of our customer base, through developing new and existing products that engage our customers and create a commercially beneficial 'base of the future'. Additionally, you'll be proactively understanding the potential impact of regulatory intervention and developing strategies that deliver a successful outcome for both the customer, SSE and our regulatory partners.
Your Skills and Experience
You'll be a passionate and pro-active individual with experience in product or portfolio management, with the ability to manage multiple (and varied) projects at the same time, with minimal support. You should have knowledge of working with the UK domestic utilities, telecoms or services environments, with a proven track record of managing senior stakeholders and budgets. You'll bring a strong commercial understanding and the ability to analyse data and present business cases. You'll have a considerable ability to design, develop and deliver products to market, with the end customer very much front of mind. Your excellent problem solving and analytical skills will allow you to interpret and synthesise information quickly into clear and concise recommendations. You'll be well organised and have the ability to work cross-functionally in a constructive and engaging way, that still provokes thought and the opportunity to challenge where needed.
