To provide opportunities, support and advice to families through individual, group or family sessions and activities as part of the Fife Support for Families in Fife service.
The post holder will work collaboratively with nurseries, social workers, health professionals and other service providers to help improve families’ life chances and build parenting capacity through parenting support, income maximisation and employability. You will encourage families to participate in developing and improving relationships to enhance the quality of life within the community by raising confidence self-esteem and aspirations.

Relevant qualification in Childcare, Social Work/Care, Health or Community such as HNC in one of the relevant fields or NNEB/SNNEB.
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Membership through Disclosure Scotland
This post requires an enthusiastic skilled worker who is able to support families who may be experiencing difficulties. The post holder will work collaboratively with nurseries & schools, social workers, health professionals and other service providers to help improve families lives and by supporting appropriately, build parenting capacity.The Individual
We are looking for an individual who has good skills and relevant experience of working with families experiencing difficulties. The applicant will be required to evidence working collaboratively with other agencies along with the ability to demonstrate experience in group work. They should be confidentially aware of the sensitive nature of the working they will be undertaking and be sensitive to those families being supported. They should have good communication skills, working as part of a team or working on their initiative and well as having an innovative and motivated drive.
