Lead, manage and develop Health and Social Care Team(s) to deliver high quality, person centred health and social care within the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership by empowering local team(s) to meet the challenges faced in the immediate future, including increased demand and increasingly scarce resource, whilst working within the ethos of the partnership.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

It is Aberdeenshire Council’s procedure that applicants for vacancies of this nature require to attend an assessment centre as well as interview. Please note, assessment centres and interviews may be carried out on different dates which will be confirmed in due course.
All applicants salary placement will be dependent on the appointed individual’s back ground and experience. However, candidates applying from either Aberdeenshire Council or NHS will be placed on their existing employer’s pay scale and retain their current employment terms and conditions.
