An opportunity has arisen within the Health and Safety Team at Newtown St Boswells. The successful candidate will form part of a team of Health and Safety Advisers in the delivery of professional and specialist Health and Safety advice to all functions of the Council. Key responsibilities include accident review and investigation; general, COSHH and Fire risk assessments; and training delivery. You will be based at Council Headquarters, but you will be expected to travel regularly to various locations in the Borders.Essential
NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or equivalent
Membership of a relevant body (minimum GradIOSH)
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
