The role of the Centre Leader is, within the resources available, to conduct the affairs of the centre to the benefit of the children, their families and the community it serves, through pursuing objectives and implementing policies set by the education authority under the overall direction of the Director of Education & Children’s Services.
The Centre Leader will lead and develop a team of professional staff responding, in line with the Children and Young People Act, The National Standard, the Early Years Framework, Building the Ambition, How Good is Our Early Learning and Childcare (HGIOELC), Curriculum for Excellence and Pre Birth to Three Guidance to meet the needs of children in their early years.
