Chi fydd yn arwain ar gyflawni cynllun cyfathrebu'r RSPB yng Nghymru, gan sicrhau bod holl gyfathrebiadau dwyieithog RSPB Cymru yn cael eu creu mewn arddull glir, grymus, yn unol â'n brand ac sy'n taro deuddeg gyda'n cynulleidfaoedd targed ac yn cyflawni eu nod. Byddwch yn helpu'r tîm i ddatblygu a meithrin perthynas agos ag ystod eang o bobl sy'n gweithio yn y cyfryngau a chyda ein partneriaid. Byddwch yn cydlynu ymatebion i ymholiadau gan y cyfryngau yn ddyddiol a, phan fydd angen, yn cynrychioli'r RSPB ar yr awyr yn y Gymraeg a'r Saesneg.

Byddwch yn hyrwyddo defnydd o Gynllun Iaith Gymraeg yr RSPB i sicrhau bod pob cyfathrebiad cyhoeddus o safon uchel ac yn ennyn mwy o gefnogaeth i genhadaeth yr RSPB. Byddwch hefyd yn goruchwylio presenoldeb RSPB Cymru mewn digwyddiadau cenedlaethol, cyfathrebiadau argyfwng o Gymru ac yn rheoli tîm o (ar hyn o bryd) dau aelod o staff.

RSPB Cymru is looking for a dynamic, self-starting individual to join our team of Communication professionals. You'll be leading our media and communications to raise awareness and grow support for the RSPB's mission to save nature. The role can work from Cardiff or Bangor, and being able to speak and write fluently in Welsh and English is essential.


You will lead delivery of the RSPB communications plan in Wales, ensuring that all RSPB Cymru's bilingual communications are created in a clear, compelling and on-brand style that are accessible to the target audiences and able to achieve their desired outcome. You'll help the team to develop and nurture close relationships with a wide range of people working in the news media and other partnership organisations. You will coordinate responses to media enquiries on a daily basis and, when required, represent the RSPB on air in both Welsh and English languages.

You will champion implementation of the RSPB's Welsh Language Scheme to ensure all public-facing communications are created to a high standard and generate greater support for the RSPB's mission.You'll also oversee RSPB Cymru's presence at national events in Wales, support management of all crisis communications from Wales and manage a team of (currently) two staff.

Salary starting at

£29,507 to £31,966 per annum - Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range
