Working with Council Tax, Rent & Housing/Council Tax Benefits, you will administer advice in accordance with statutory procedures to customers , by telephone and in writing. You will have excellent communication skills in writing, on telephone and excellent customer service skills. You must be proficient in the use of a PC and be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
You must have a Standard Grade or equivalent in typing/word processing/PC/office skills, English and Maths/Arithmetic.
Previous experience of benefits, Council Tax and/or Rent administration is preferred but not essential.
