1.    Whilst maintaining favourable customer relationships, to develop and sustain maximum levels of labour sales and profitability, ensuring that the highest standards of service are made available.


2.    To support the Company and its Management Team in its overall objective to maximise performance and profitability within all sectors.




a)    To actively market the Company’s services, ensuring that maximum productive hours are charged.


b)    To assist with the production of an annual sales and profit plan for the Department, ensuring its implementation once approved.


c)    To maintain and enthuse an efficient workforce, ensuring that optimum levels of productivity are maintained on a permanent basis.


d)    To ensure that operating costs are effectively managed and that levels of wastage are curtailed to an absolute minimum.


e)    To accurately receive and interpret customer instructions, ensuring that these are understood and adhered to by Engineering staff.


f)    To effectively administer all warranty work, ensuring that all claims are raised and submitted in a timely manner and that full labour and parts charges are recovered.


g)    To ensure that adequate and effective training is made available to all personnel as required.


h)    To ensure that all documents and procedures relating to the Department’s operation are promptly and efficiently dealt with, with specific emphasis given to time records, invoicing and customer quotations.


i)    To ensure that Company assets are maintained to the highest standard in terms of vehicles, special tools, premises, etc.


j)    To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all personnel employed within the Department, with specific emphasis given to Health and Safety and statutory requirements.


k)    To ensure that a high standard of discipline is maintained at all times.


l)    To undertake any other duties that may be necessary in the Company’s interests when called upon to do so.

A Sound Knowledge of the Agricultural, Construction or Groundcare trade.

Will be able to motivate the department as well as being a good team player. You should also be confident in dealing direct with the customers as well as manufacturers
