Do you have a passion for caring and making a difference to people’s lives? If so we are looking for dedicated and conscientious individuals to join our care service teams across East Renfrewshire to provide a range of planned long term support / support following a period in hospital and unplanned emergency support.
The roles are demanding but hugely rewarding, assisting adults and older people facing a range of challenges (including dementia, physical disability and ill health) with daily living activities, to enable them to live safely and independently within their own home.
Whilst proven care experience, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, is desirable we would welcome applications from people who are caring and compassionate, with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide high quality care and support to people living in their own homes.
There will be a requirement to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or to be eligible for registration from commencement of employment in the appropriate category for adults. As a Council employee you will benefit from good terms and conditions, enhanced payments and automatic access to the Councils pension scheme. A robust induction programme provided before commencing the role.
Possession of a clean current driving licence is desirable.
