Barnardo's Springboard is commissioned by the Highland Council to provide a throughcare and aftercare service to young people aged 16-26 years who are leaving foster and residential care in Highland.

We are recruiting a Project Worker 2 based in Inverness, covering the Highland area. The successful applicant will be required to have strong assessment skills and experience in report writing and recording. You will be required to asses need and co-ordinate a plan of support for young people, offering advice and guidance to enable young people to work towards agreed outcomes to aid the transition to independence. Experience of managing a caseload would also be preferable.

These may be in relation to:-

Transition planning Having their own accommodation Training/education/employment Being a good parent Ensure the emotional needs of young people are being met Knowledge on ACE's and Trauma would also be beneficial

Therefore the successful candidate will respond to young people's needs and offer holistic support, either within the young person's care setting or their accommodation.
