Based within Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley.

The Grade of Position Offered will be determined by the applicants experience level

You will assist in providing Quantity Surveying services within a multi-disciplinary team including preparing contract documentation, liaising with contractors, using computerised programmes to prepare bills of quantities, final accounting processing and assisting with cost initiatives on construction programmes.

It is essential you have: a degree in quantity surveying; experience of working in a best value construction environment on a wide range of projects; liaising with contractors and preparing contract documentation; knowledge of building contracts; estimating; quantitative analysis; construction techniques; finance; commercially aware and good practice within quantity surveying; effective communication; interpersonal and IT skills together with the ability to be self motivated and work with minimum supervision.

Experience of SBCC contracts is essential and open book and target costing would be desirable.

Driving Licence is essential. Use of own car is not required as pool cars are provided.
