What is the role?
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of Health and Social Care Integration in South Ayrshire.
The Integrated Joint Board brings together budgets from South Ayrshire Council and NHS Ayrshire and Arran totalling £225 million. Our challenge is to use these resources across organisational boundaries to achieve the best service and best value for our population.
The new role of Chief Finance Officer has been established to fulfil the Section 95 Officer function for the Integration Joint Board. The post holder will also have a key role in supporting long term financial planning for the Health and Social Partnership as well as supporting operational planning intended to drive forward service redesign and achieve Best Value. The post will have a central role in financial planning, investment evaluation, efficiency measures and statutory accounts.
You will need to be a CCAB qualified accountant with appropriate experience in a large organisation. Experience working within Health or Social Care would be an advantage.
South Ayrshire Council Salary - from £57,889 to £59,659 (Level 16)
NHS Ayrshire & Arran Salary - from £53,291 to £62,259 per annum (Band 8B)
