An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. Applications are invited for the above post which can be based either in Stornoway or Balivanich. Outer Hebrides Alcohol and Drug Partnership (OHADP) are looking for an enthusiastic person to take forward the recovery agenda, engage people with lived experience and support stakeholders to establish recovery communities. The post holder will be required to plan, organise and deliver a range of stakeholder engagement events as well as identifying resources that can help support people affected by substance misuse to successfully participate in peer-led recovery initiatives. You will need good communication skills to engage with a wide range of services, including people with lived experience of drugs and alcohol use. You will work in partnership with local authority departments, Police Scotland, NHS Western Isles, local service providers, voluntary sector and community groups.
