NHS HIGHLAND RAIGMORE HOSPITAL, INVERNESS PHYSIOTHERAPY DEPARTMENT ASSOCIATE PRACTITIONER PHYSIOTHERAPY - MEDICAL FULL TIME, PERMANENT BAND 4 : £22,152 to £24,258 An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medical Physiotherapy Team, at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, for individuals who are seeking a Band 4 Associate Physiotherapy Practitioner post. Applications are sought from individuals with previous experience as a support worker in Physiotherapy. The applicant is required to have an HNC/SVQ III or equivalent relevant experience or be willing to work towards this. The role will involve the successful applicant assisting qualified Physiotherapy staff in the provision of efficient and effective Physiotherapy services within the Medical Unit. The applicant will be expected to carry their own, delegated patient caseload and to assess, treat and discharge patients in accordance with set treatment protocols. They will be expected to prioritise and manage their workload independently. Support and training will be available from the Medical Physiotherapists. Applicants should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
