A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a new Team Leader in Early Years to support the expansion of early years and childcare across Perth and Kinross. Working directly for the Service Manager (Early Years), you will form part of the Senior Early Years Management Team, to ensure the strategic planning and delivery of early learning and childcare across Perth and Kinross.
You will work closely with the Quality Improvement Officer (Early Years) and Educational Support Officers to deliver the Council’s early year’s provision, supporting childminders and partner providers.
You will oversee the annual staffing exercise and co-ordination of supply provision for early years. You will lead all recruitment and HR processes for all Single Status staff within early years.
You will provide management support to staff in nursery class settings during school holiday periods to meet the needs of the early years expansion.The Individual
You will have a BA in Childcare. You will be required to be SSSC registered. You will have experience of statutory or voluntary sector childcare, social work and/or education. You will have previous supervisory experience.
You will be a team player who is flexible to the needs and demands of the service, with a can do attitude. You will have the ability to manage change and improvement effectively.
