We are looking for a self-employed carer to look after our mum.

She is in her mid 60's and we are looking for someone who wants her to live as independently as possible.  Mum has mobility issues (walks with a stick just now but can vari) and she struggles to carry out basic daily tasks.

We are needing someone to do light housework, meals and socialising.  Mum has a great sense of humour.

We are offering a good rate of pay and there are other benefits to the right person.  We need someone with a full, clean driving licence and for insurance over 25, self empolyed with current DBS check.

We normally have two carers, that work 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, we are looking for someone to work alongside our current carer, to provide our mum with 24 hour care.

We are looking for someone who is a reasonable traveling distance from the Isle of Skye, we have found that carers that are traveling more than 3 hours can’t maintain this role long term and we are looking for someone long term.  Must have past experience of live in care and knowledge of Parkinson's would be good.

Our dad stays in the house too, he is in his mid 70's, but is no longer able to look after our mum.  He is very easy going, independent (looks after himself) and grateful to seeing his wife being looked after, but he is a smoker.
