You will work 4 days on 4 days off split shift 0730-1300 then 1700-2130
As a member of this new team you will work in pairs to cover a locality in a vehicle provided by us where you will deliver double up care to the most vulnerable people in a defined area.
You will need to be flexible and willing to work within a small team to cover the Service Users sometimes with very short notice, so you need to be adaptable to change.
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.The Individual
You must hold or be willing to achieve the Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 6 known as SVQ2 Social Services or equivalent to meet SSSC Registration within the first period of registration.
You should be able to provide a regular and effective service, work to shift patterns, undertake physical requirements associated with the job and work under minimal supervision. Key skills include kindness, compassion, team working, maturity, adaptability and caring skills.
You will follow instructions in a safe and responsible manner, have an awareness of Adult Support and Protection and National Care Standards. You should have experience responding to situations in a calm and flexible way.
You must be willing to travel across different areas of Fife as determined by service demand.
