We are seeking a Tutor of Skills for Work: Rural Skills - Horticulture, based at our Lochgilphead Centre. Practical and theoretical knowledge of areas of rural skills and horticulture including basic gardening and planting skills, drainage or plumbing, hard landscaping and basic business skills.

You will be educated to in the relevant subject, and ideally, you will have some teaching experience, although applicants without teaching qualifications will also be considered.  If you do not already hold an appropriate teaching qualification, you will be expected to undertake one in your first year with the college.

Number of hours – 4 per week during school term times worked on a Tuesday & Wednesday 13:30 - 15:30.

Payment will be on the appropriate point of National Pay Scales for College tutors.

The successful applicant will be subject to an application to join Disclosure Scotland Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
